Stephanie Rogers is an assistant professor in geosciences at Auburn University and is a GIS expert. She received her doctorate at University of Fribourg in Switzerland. Rogers’ research investigates emerging geospatial technologies to push the boundaries of efficiency in data collection and management through innovation and development, while analyzing datasets using cutting-edge analytical methodologies to solve real-world problems across disciplines. Rogers has recently established the GeoIDEA (Geospatial Innovation, Development, and Environmental Applications) Lab where her and her team conduct multidisciplinary research spanning the topics of GIScience, geographic data collection, spatial and temporal modeling of water quality and contamination, and environmental effects on honey bee colony mortality. She currently advises two Trainees: Bethany Foust and Mallory Jordan (co-advised by Dr. Ann Ojeda). Dr. Rogers hails from Nova Scotia, Canada.
