Katie Brown is the program coordinator for the Climate Resilience NRT Project. Her career includes over 15 years of event coordination and hospitality management in the private sector including Marriott, non-profit, and other hospitality businesses. She was recognized as a certified meeting professional by the event industry council for 10 years. She studied hotel, restaurant and tourism at Auburn University and the University of New Orleans. Katie has had the opportunity to live in many places throughout the southeast, but is excited to return to Auburn and assist in this worthy project building up the next generation of interdisciplinary scientists to assist her beloved southeast become more climate-resilient.
Sabrina De Los Santos

Sabrina De Los Santos is a researcher for TERC, the NRT project's outside evaluator. She assists in the project's surveys, interviews and evaluation. In addition to this NRT, she works on several STEM research and evaluation projects engaging middle school students in rural settings, Latino families with children in preschool, and pK-12 teachers. She draws on her background in psychology, public health and education technology to design and evaluate learning experiences in both formal and informal environments. She holds an Ed.M. in Technology, Innovation and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Psychology, Boston University.
