Katie Temple has more than 10 years of experience as a Wildlife Biologist and has worked all around the country. After receiving a Bachelor’s of Science with a concentration in Wildlife Biology from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, she worked leading a conservation program on a Naval base in Hawaii. In Auburn University’s graduate school program, she is completing her masters evaluating the effectiveness of conservation practices of an Endangered species in the Hawaiian Islands. For her PhD, she will be researching the responses of birds to climate change and the best way to conserve and protect these species in a changing climate. Katie is advised by Drs. Jean Fantle-Lepczyk and Chris Lepczyk. Katie Temple is originally from Washington state and is a voracious reader.
