Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems Science (GISc)
The Department of Geosciences is offering a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems Science. Students who complete the Certificate program will achieve the following Student Learning Objectives.
The concentrated Curriculum has four courses required for a total of 14 hours. Students can choose from approved electives for courses that are at least 2 credit hours. Total hours for GISc Certificate is 16-17 hours.
Student must add the graduate certificate curriculum no later than the term before taking the last required course.
Degree Seeking Students
Completing the certificate while working on a graduate degree click here.
Non-Degree Seeking Students
- Submit an application for admission as a non-degree seeking graduate student to a Graduate Certificate program
- Submit a transcript (showing the award of the highest degree earned) to the Graduate School
- Pay the application fee
Note: Non-degree seeking students enrolled only in a graduate certificate program are not eligible for financial aid.
