Leadership Team

Katherine Brewer received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Auburn University. In 2006, Brewer became an instructor at Auburn University and transitioned to the role of lecturer in 2016. With a passion for teaching writing and building students’ competencies in critical reading and writing, research, and textual analysis, she has devoted time to developing and teaching online courses for the English department in core composition and literature. Brewer is an enthusiastic advocate for the importance of excellent teaching and communication in both physical and online classrooms. Her ultimate goals are to help students become deeper readers, stronger writers, and kinder human beings.
