Dr. Seth Gitter is a senior lecturer in the department of psychology. He also serves as the coordinator of the Undergraduate Teaching Assistant program. Originally from Wisconsin, Dr Gitter holds bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, and a master’s and PhD in social psychology from Florida State University. While most of his career has been spent working at Auburn University, he has also worked with the military conducting research on computer, application-based, and virtual reality assisted training while serving as a research psychologist with the US Army Research Institute for Behavioral Sciences at Ft. Benning and spent one year as a visiting assistant professor at that other university in our state located about two hours West of here.
