  • All ceremonies are held inside Neville Arena and include the commencement speaker, the conferral of degrees, the recognition of students with academic honors and the student procession. 
  • Each ceremony is anticipated to last between 90 minutes and two hours.
  • A live stream of the ceremony will be available on the commencement website.
  • Doors open 90 minutes before each ceremony, and graduates are seated on the Arena floor by college.

  • Tickets are required for all graduates and guests.
  • Only graduates can reserve tickets.  
  • Tickets are free and are issued only by the Commencement Office.  
  • Ticket reservations open on Feb. 24 and close on March 27. Instructions for reserving tickets will be emailed to graduates on Feb. 24.  
  • All graduates planning to participate in commencement must first reserve a ticket for themselves.
  • Spring 2025 graduates can reserve up to six guest tickets and may request an additional two waitlist tickets.
  • Waitlist tickets are not guaranteed and are allocated based on availability. Graduates will be notified about waitlist tickets on March 31.  
  • A standby line is available for guests without tickets, subject to arena capacity. 
  • Ticketing FAQs can be found on the commencement website. 
  • NOTE: Auburn University's commencement tickets have no cash value. The selling or bartering of commencement tickets is strictly prohibited and is considered a Student Conduct offense. Students found engaging in such activities may have their tickets voided.

  • All graduates will have official photos taken with Aubie (optional), crossing the stage and with their copy of the Auburn Creed. 
  • Family and friends who register for GradImages prior to the ceremonies will receive a 20% discount on all orders. 
  • Photos are typically available within two weeks after the ceremonies. 
  • Photo opportunities are for graduates only.

  • Regalia (cap and gown) is required for all commencement ceremonies and can be purchased through the Auburn University Bookstore.
  • Orders for early pickup must be placed by Monday, March 3. Early pickup will be held March 24 through March 28 in the Auburn University Bookstore. 
  • The final deadline to order regalia is Monday, April 7, for pickup from May 5 through May 12. 
  • If an order is not placed by April 7, graduates can purchase regalia for an additional $25 late fee and may be subject to limited size availability. 
  • Honor cords are distributed with regalia. For questions regarding honor cord eligibility, contact the Registrar’s Office.
Spring 2025 Ceremony Schedule (Doors open 90 minutes prior to all start times). Friday May 9, Graduate School Ceremony- 5 pm. Saturday May 10, Ceremony One includes the Colleges of Agriculture, Education, Sciences and Mathematics and begins at 8 am. Ceremony 2 includes Colleges of Architecture, Design and Construction, Forestry, Wildlife and Environment, Human Sciences and Nursing and begins at 1 pm. Ceremony 3 includes the Raymond J. Harbert College of Business and begins at 6 pm. Sunday May 11 has 2 ceremonies. Ceremony 1 is College of Liberal Arts at 1 pm and the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at 6 pm. Monday May 12- Ceremony one is the Harrison College of Pharmacy (PharmD ONLY) at 1 pm and College of Veterinary Medicine (DVM ONLY) at 6 pm.
