Revise
Academic units can propose revisions to courses, programs, certificates, minors, etc. The table below provides links to instructions for different types of curricular revisions. It also shows the general approvals required and an approximate timeline. Once proposals are submitted, progress through the approval process can be monitored.

* All proposals must be approved by departmental, college, and university committees, as well as the Provost.
** The time to change a new course/program is dependent on several factors (e.g., timing of submission, efficiency of college approval processes, external meeting schedules). The listed times are rough approximations.
1 – Provost and ACHE approval may be necessary when degree program revisions are substantial in content and purpose. If the program dramatically increases or decreases the number of hours required, SACSCOC approval may be required.
