Our goal is to help you become a better writer and communicator. As a welcoming space, we value the perspectives and experiences you bring to your writing. We offer free, one-on-one appointments to all current students and employees at Auburn University in face-to-face, online, and asynchronous formats. Our staff of undergraduate and graduate peer consultants can help you with any kind of writing, at any point in the writing process. In 2022, the Miller Writing Center earned certification from the Southeastern Writing Center Association for excellent services to Auburn University.

Miller Writing Center Appointment

To make an appointment, visit AU Access and click on the MWC icon. Refer to our appointment guide for step-by-step instructions (Word version of appointment guide, PDF version of appointment guide).

The Miller Writing Center is located on the second floor of RBD Library. It is open for summer semester from May 22 to August 1, with appointments available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The writing center is closed on May 29 for Memorial Day, June 19 for Juneteenth, and July 4 for Independence Day.

By making an appointment, clients agree to adhere to the following policies and guidelines: MWC Policies and Guidelines Word Document, MWC Policies and Guidelines PDF. Please note that if you are a caregiver, your dependent is welcome to accompany you to your appointment.
