Our mission is to provide safe and reliable transit service to Auburn University students, faculty and staff. We operate Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a transition into the evening transit services that operate from 6:15 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters. For transportation after 10:00 p.m. we encourage students to utilize the Campus Security Shuttle that is operated by the Department of Public Safety and Security from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. seven days a week while classes are in session with the only exception due to home football game evenings and Auburn University holidays.
The transportation services we provide are free for Auburn University students to utilize as much or as little as needed. Auburn University faculty and staff are also available to utilize our services freely by simply providing the drivers their University identification card. For non-Auburn University affiliated individuals, we encourage users to utilize the Lee-Russell Public Transit that is available to the general public.
We encourage students to take advantage of the twenty routes that are offered throughout the fall and spring academic semesters and provide color-coordinated lines to easily identify which transit route is ideal. With several routes, campus stations, and stops, we provide a real-time mobile application that is free to download on both Apple and Android smart phones to assist riders with Tiger Transit information. The TransLoc smartphone application provides real-time location of buses, next stop information, and access to Tiger Transit announcements of any alterations due to inclement weather, or unforeseen route changes.
For more information about our TransLoc smartphone application, visit our page that provides detailed instructions on how to download our free app. If you would like to know more about how our department serves the Auburn Family, feel free to visit our website, call (334) 844-4757 or email tigertransit@auburn.edu.
