The Council will meet biannually on dates established by the Chairperson in consultation with the Dean. Committee meetings will coincide with the general meetings and on other dates as necessary for accomplishing committee business.

Meeting formats will vary depending on agenda, setting and timing, but will typically be informal to encourage open discussion.

Council meetings will take place on the University's campus in Auburn, Alabama. Occasionally, less formal meetings may be held at other locations. Members are expected to provide their own transportation, lodging, and other expenses for attending meetings.

Attendance at the bi-annual meetings is crucial to the overall success of the Council. Therefore, council members who miss two consecutive meetings will receive a letter of inquiry from the Chairman and/or Dean regarding their interest in continued participation on the Dean's Leadership Council or to become a Dean's Associate.

The Fall 2021 meeting will be held September 10 - 11.
