Time: Sep 11, 2013 (12:00 PM)
Location: Funchess Hall 336

Details:

Greetings All,

First, I'd like to thank everyone who attended the first BioLunch meeting last week! We had a really great turn out. We discussed several topics that directly affect all of us graduate students and much of the faculty. Every individual's support counts for something so please continue to join us and participate! The BioLunch meeting will again be held in 336 Funchess Hall at 12pm onWednesday. Coffee and snacks will be provided.

I'd like to announce our speaker for this week's meeting. Justin Havird will give a presentation titled "The NSF EAPSI program: Get Paid a Lot to Travel this Summer Instead of a Little to Teach." Justin is an outstandingly gifted Ph.D student in the Dr. Santos Lab. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Department of Zoology at the University of Florida before joining our Biological Sciences department. We are honored to have him present this week so please don't miss out!

Last but not least, please don't forget to cast your vote for the new Auburn Biology t-shirts we will be selling. I really think we have some fun designs that will look great! Vote here: http://imgur.com/a/sVGGw. I hope you all have a terrific week! War Eagle!
