Details: At our October meeting, Dr. Mike Wooten of DBS will talk about his many years of research on the federally endangered Alabama Beach Mouse. Following his talk, we’ll make plans for our field trip the following weekend (Oct. 18-20) to Coastal Alabama to visit the Gulf Coast Zoo, take a tour of beach mouse habitat at Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, and explore pitcher plant bogs at The Nature Conservancy’s Splinter Hill Bog.
