Field trip of Society for Conservation Biology - DBS

Time: Nov 09, 2013 (08:00 AM)
Location: Conecuh National Forest

Details:
SCB will take a 2-day field trip to Conecuh National Forest to work with scientists on the Indigo Snake Reintroduction Project. We’ll do field work Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning to help with some field construction projects, under the supervision of Jim Godwin of the Alabama Natural Heritage Program. This is a fascinating project in which SCB has been involved for at least 3 years and has resulted in establishment of a breeding population of indigo snakes after their absence in Alabama since the 1950s. Please contact our President (Pia Kulakowski: pmk0001@tigermail.auburn.edu) for information about the trip!
