Geosciences - Our STEM Story

Our department in partnership with COSAM OIED will be hosting an Our STEM Story Speaker on Wednesday, November 15 ^th in the Science Center Auditorium Rm 101 at 4 PM. Our STEM Story is a COSAM-wide seminar series featuring keynote speakers to promote inclusion, equity and diversity in the STEM ( https://www.auburn.edu/cosam/departments/diversity/our_stem_story/index.htm).

Dr. Devra Hock-Reid will serve as the speaker for the event. Dr. Hock-Reid is an early career professional who studied mammalian paleo-ecology as part of her PhD. She is passionate about science communication, museum education, and diversity and equity in STEM. She is the outgoing Communications Coordinator for the Association of Women Geoscientists.
