Auburn Professor Using Hubble Space Telescope to Observe Comet Passing Earth

As a comet closely approaches, Dr. Dennis Bodewits will use the Hubble Space Telescope to track data to help scientists learn more about comets and apply this information to other comets. Read more about how this COSAM faculty is using three of NASA’s telescopes: the Hubble Space Telescope, the Chandra X-ray Observatory and the Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory.

COSAM Office of Student Services Offers Encouragement and Goodies to Students during Finals

 

Students who were working diligently during finals week at COSAM, were met with encouragement, snacks and free Scantrons. Students could stop by the Office of Student Services all week to grab a snack, take a Scantron and get a motivational message. Check out how COSAM makes a difference for students during an important week.
