“I’ve always wanted to be a physicist,” Brady explains. “I’ve always loved learning how the universe works from things as big as galaxies to something as small as an atom.” Find out how this exceptional COSAM student is now part of a prestigious class of scientists.
“It is an honor to be part of an international scientific forum that has given me the opportunity to represent Auburn University around the globe in places such as Cuba, South Africa, Malaysia, Portugal, and now even Russia,” explained Dr. Boyd. Find out why he will be back in Russia next year.
“In COSAM, I see the commitment to welcoming diverse students from around the globe,” he explained. “I think it is great to see how the array of international cultures here complement each other and increase opportunities for new experiences for everyone.” Read about this lecturer in the Department of Geosciences who grew up in Northern California and Oregon then researched volcanoes in the Chilean Atacama Desert.
“I enjoy mentoring COSAM students because they are enthusiastic and eager to learn about a career in medicine,” Dr. Freeman shared. “It is important for me to be able pass along (give back) to students the principles that I have learned over the years about communicating with and reassuring patients.” Find out more about Dr. Freeman's honor.
