COLLABORATIVE ONLINE INTERNATIONAL LEARNING
The Office of International Programs (OIP), in partnership with the Biggio Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning and the Auburn University Libraries, is launching a pilot program to bring Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) into Auburn's core courses to facilitate the development of global literacy for every Auburn student.
WHAT IS COIL?
Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) is a teaching method that connects students and professors from different cultures to learn, discuss and collaborate as part of a class. COIL is a type of virtual exchange that uses online technology to facilitate sustained student collaboration and increase intercultural competence.
