Rizwan Hussain joined the Office of Academic Insight in August 2024 as a Senior Analyst for Assessment. In this role, he supports both academic and non-academic units across Auburn University.
Prior to joining the Office of Academic Insight, Rizwan served as a Senior Analyst for Assessment in a different division at Auburn University. There, he provided expertise in assessment, evaluation, and programmatic review. Rizwan also worked with campus stakeholders to develop and implement student success initiatives, including the Finish-Line and Melton Scholars Programs. Additionally, he supported the provost’s staff through data collection, assessment, and evaluation of campus-wide programs such as the Tiger Excellence Scholars Program, Tiger Takeoff, the AU Campus Climate Study, and Student Check-in Surveys.
Before joining Auburn University, Rizwan held a position at the Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) in Houston, Texas, where he was responsible for K-12 research and evaluation, internal accountability, data analytics, and district-wide assessment support.
He holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Texas Southern University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Administration and Public Policy at Auburn University. Rizwan resides in Auburn with his family.
