Applied & Accepted Transfer Students

AUSOM filters applicants into any potential university, college, and/or departmental scholarship award consideration for which they may qualify. Students can access AUSOM once they have been accepted. The AUSOM application should be completed by the February priority date for full consideration, but accepted students may continue to complete AUSOM once they are accepted.

There are two parts to this:

• An online, self-paced component of orientation which consists of modules in Canvas available in AU Access.

• An in-person, or online synchronous, transfer orientation session which you will attend with other incoming students.

Once all of the modules are completed, including the Transfer Plan of Study, your academic advisor will reach out to discuss registering for classes.

You will be assigned a registration time (a “time ticket”) that indicates when your window for registration starts.

Once these are completed and you are registered, you are ready to go and will attend your first semester as an Auburn University student.
