Rescheduling Final Exams
Auburn University allows students to reschedule finals if they have more than two on the same day, provided they notify faculty by Mid-Semester Day. If unable to reschedule exams directly with instructors, students should seek help from the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. The Associate Dean will assist with contacting faculty and discussing a strategy for rescheduling an exam. This must be done one week prior to the mid-semester date.
Approval for Obtaining Credit for Directed Studies
https://bulletin.auburn.edu/Policies/Academic/directedstudiesetc/
The Office of the Provost has specific policies on Directed Studies courses (e.g. directed research, independent study, directed readings, etc.) and a documented agreement must be completed each semester between the student and the professor. In advance of the semester of Directed Studies work, COSAM students, in collaboration with the professor supervising their work, should initiate one of two processes for obtaining approval to be registered for Directed Studies credit. An official form is submitted for review and approval by the student’s Department Chair and Academic Dean.
