Details: Last monthly meeting of this semester for our chapter of this conservation group. We will give a brief report on our field trip to the Alabama Aquatic Biodiversity Center on March 5. The main event (Animal-palooza!) will have Jimmy Stiles (graduate student) bringing in some of his collection of live animal species (including largest reptile/salamander/snake species in the state). Jimmy will talk to us about the biology of these species and their conservation and we’ll get an up-close (maybe hands-on) look at them! |
