COSAM Events
Pierce Meinert has spent his Auburn years balancing demanding coursework, two research labs and three years in the Auburn University Marching Band. This spring, the microbiology senior was recognized as a Comer Medalist for Excellence in Biological Sciences.
Ava Haider did not expect research to become such a defining part of her Auburn experience. Now the chemistry and chemical engineering senior is earning recognition for award-winning work in Ahmed Hamid's lab.
Mathematics and physics senior Will McCurley has received COSAM's inaugural Dean Schneller Award, recognizing his exceptional achievement in research, scholarship and service. From advanced work in computational condensed matter physics to leadership across Auburn's academic community, McCurley reflects the curiosity and excellence the award was created to honor.
