AU Mathematics Club invited speaker: Mr. John Trawick

Mr. John Trawick will speak on "Reflections of an Auburn Math Alum," sharing some lessons from his own personal professional experiences as well as how mathematics is applied in the utility/energy business as that business is changing.

Mr. Trawick received his bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Auburn University followed by a master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Tennessee. He is at present Senior Vice President at the Southern Company. Additionally, Mr. Trawick is a member of the COSAM Dean's Leadership Council.

Drinks and snacks will be served in Parker Hall 244 from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m.
