Title: Colouring and structure in graphs

Abstract: I will give a general overview of my research program as part of my application for P&T this year. My research program is centered in graph theory and has two broad, sometimes overlapping themes. The first theme is “colouring,” and I’ll specifically talk about my work on edge-colouring and list-edge-colouring as well as my work on the related concept of flows. The second theme is “structure,” and there I’ll talk about my work involving packing, density, and the immersion containment relation.
