Title: An invitation to Minimal Spaces in Topological Dynamics


Abstract: Shortly after departing Auburn University in 2013, I developed interest in the study of minimal sets and spaces in topological dynamics, for which the initial motivation came from fixed point results in my dissertation. In my talk I would like to offer a brief introduction to this area of research, and then share highlights of the results obtained in my project funded by National Science Center, Poland in the years 2016-2018.
