Drs. Zhang and Y. Cao receive NSF grant
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has granted $38,913 to our affiliate faculty Dr. Guannan Zhang (Principal Investigator) and our colleague Dr. Yanzhao Cao (Co-Principal Investigator). Their 3-year collaborative research project "Mathematical Methods for Optimal Polynomial Recovery of High-Dimensional Systems from Sparse and Noisy Data" will start on September 15, 2016. Their project will be centered around the interdisciplinary training of graduate students in computational data science and engineering. The results obtained will be disseminated through journal articles, conference talks, and a collaborative website.
