Leadership Team
Carolyn FitzGerald is an associate professor of Asian studies in the Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. She earned her PhD from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2007. Her research interests include modern Chinese literature, language, film, and drama. FitzGerald has also been recognized with several awards including the 2021 Certificate of Merit of the Outstanding Advising Award – Faculty Academic Advising by the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and was a 2021 Provost Advising Awards winner for Outstanding Faculty Advisor. She is also an affiliate faculty member of the Women’s and Gender Studies program.
