Leadership Team
Elijah Johnson is an Earth System Science PhD candidate and graduate student instructor in the Department of Geosciences. He is a Richmond, Virginia native who received his B.A. in Earth Science from James Madison University and his M.S. in Geology from Auburn University. His research is situated in geoscience education where he studies the efficacy of teaching tools for improving spatial thinking in undergraduate students. He also has research interests in the social applications of geographic information systems. As a geoscientist, he values educating others about the world around them and how it all works.
