Lauren Collins - Bio

As the campus and community events coordinator in the Office of the Provost, Lauren Collins supports the planning and execution of a broad portfolio of academic and university events that advance the institution's strategic priorities and strengthen engagement across campus and the broader community. In addition to collaborating with university leadership, academic units and external partners to deliver strategic programs, Lauren also coordinates campus events for students, faculty, staff, alumni and other guests. Her responsibilities include supporting the university’s commencement ceremonies, faculty recognition events, campus leadership programs and other initiatives, ensuring each event fosters exceptional on-campus stakeholder experiences.

A proud Auburn alumna, Lauren earned a bachelor's degree in hospitality management with a concentration in event management from the Horst Schulze School of Hospitality Management in the College of Human Sciences. Before joining Auburn, she built her career in hospitality and conference services, managing meetings, conferences and special events for a variety of organizations.
