Academic Director, Auburn Global

Robert Weigel is the academic director at Auburn Global. Weigel earned a master’s in history and a doctoral degree in German literature at the University at Albany, State University of New York. He has been a faculty member of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures at Auburn University since 1993 and served as department chair from 2005 to 2011 before joining Auburn Global in 2015. As academic director, Weigel oversees all aspects of the educational curriculum of the various programs of the International Accelerator Pathway.
