Leadership Team
Tingting Wang earned her Ph.D. in Language, Literacy, and Technology from Washington State University. During her studies, Dr. Wang participated in research and teaching projects, including the K-8 ESL teacher preparation program, Flipped Chinese Course Design and Research Project, and Afghan e-Learning English Support Project. After graduation, she worked as a Chinese language lecturer at Princeton University and as a head instructor in the "Princeton in Beijing" summer program for several summers. At Auburn University, her work areas include the instructional design of Chinese as a foreign language, pre-service teacher training, language partner program, and student cross-culture communication. Additionally, Dr. Wang was funded by Princeton University in 2017 for Chinese as a heritage language teaching and learning research and was supported by Auburn University in 2020 for online course development. She values the mutually nourishing relationship between research and practice, and her reflection on foreign language teaching practice and teaching theories has turned into several journal papers and book chapters.
