Leadership Team

Dr. Alina Windell is an instructor in the Department of Music at Auburn University. She holds a Bachelor of Music in flute performance from Indiana University, a Master of Music in flute performance from Stony Brook University, and a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in flute performance and pedagogy from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Dr. Windell is principal flute in the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra, performs with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, is an Artist in Residence at the Orfeo International Music Festival in Italy, and currently serves as President of the Atlanta Flute Club. She has recorded for Naxos and Centaur Records, and musical engagements have taken her across world from the United States to Europe and Asia. She has been teaching music appreciation for 10 years, and maintains a private studio of flute and piano lessons.
