Lora Merchant
Lecturer, Mathematics and Statistics
Lora Merchant received her master’s degree in Discrete Mathematics from Auburn University in 2002. After completing her doctorate in Secondary Mathematics Education in 2009, she became a visiting Associate Professor in the Curriculum and Teaching Department at Auburn for two years. Merchant is currently a full-time faculty member in the Mathematics Department at Auburn University. She is the coordinator of all precalculus courses and is a lead instructor for Plainsman Prep. Lora lives in Auburn and has three beautiful children.
