
Dedicated to education and higher learning, Zachary W. Schulz holds a PhD in history from Purdue University and an education specialist degree (Ed.S.) from Auburn University. His special interests are the history of veterinary medicine and One Health. His teaching specialties focus on traditional undergraduate, online, dual enrollment, adult learner, and international students.
Dr. Zachary W. Schulz is an accomplished educator and researcher with expertise in history, public health, and health policy. Holding a PhD in History, an EdS in Adult Education, and an MPH in Health Promotion and Policy, he brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to his teaching and research. With over a decade of experience, he has taught courses ranging from world history to the history of veterinary medicine and comparative health systems in diverse educational settings. His research focuses on public health history, oral health, and healthcare policy, with impactful publications and contributions to state health reports. Dr. Schulz is also an active leader in academia, serving on university committees and advising the Undergraduate History Club.
