Auburn University is a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA). This agreement is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education. Being a member of NC-SARA allows Auburn University to offer distance education to students who live outside the state of Alabama. Additionally, it allows Auburn students to enroll in learning placements (e.g., clinicals, internships, practicums) that take place outside the state of Alabama. Students are encouraged to talk with their program department regarding opportunities for out-of-state learning placements. For more information about NC-SARA, visit their website by clicking here.
