Simple Syllabus is Auburn University’s official syllabus repository system. This page offers numerous resources on how to create, edit, and publish a syllabus in Simple Syllabus. Take the time to explore this page and learn ways to effectively work in Simple Syllabus. Please note that some system settings and preferences described in these materials may differ from Auburn’s setup. Auburn University-specific resources will be added soon.

Template and Tracking Training In this training session, you will learn how to modify syllabus components, create syllabus templates, and administer tasks through the administrative interface. These are specific tools that will be for those who oversee multiple sections within a department or college (associate deans, department chairs, program/course coordinators, instructional designers). Faculty Training In this training session, you will learn about the end-user functionality and will be fully empowered to train your staff on various end user functions: editing and publishing syllabi, approving syllabi, etc. This will also include an overview of the Simple Syllabus integration with Canvas. |

Zoom Room Drop-Ins Faculty are invited to attend virtual drop-in sessions to learn more about using Simple Syllabus and receive individualized support. Participants may join at any time during the session to ask questions, learn how to create and publish a syllabus, troubleshoot issues, and understand best practices with this new system. No registration is required. |
