The Auburn University Chapter of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi presents awards and/or scholarships.
Junior students attaining the highest scholastic record on a University-wide basis are selected at the Fall Semester Business Meeting and recognized at the Fall Semester Initiation and Awards Ceremony. Students are selected from those with an “ungapped” overall GPA of 4.00 and who have completed a minimum of 60 semester hours during the previous two academic years (Fall and Spring Semesters and/or Summer Terms). All academic work must have been done at Auburn University.
Third-year professional students achieving the highest scholastic record in each professional college or school are selected at the Fall Semester Business Meeting and recognized at the Fall Semester Initiation and Awards Ceremony. Students are selected from those completing a two consecutive academic years in their professional program. All academic work must have been done at Auburn University.
Presented annually in the Spring semester to outstanding junior students at Auburn University, these awards are named in memory of the mother of Mr. S. Blake Yates, a long-time member of the Auburn University Chapter of Phi Kappa Phi. Criteria include scholarship, activities, honors, and character. The nominated student must have completed a minimum of 61 credit hours by the end of the previous Fall Semester, be considered a junior in his or her academic major, and have a minimum 3.69 GPA. Nominations should be made by Auburn University faculty members who have knowledge of the student's academic performance. A letter of recommendation from another faculty member who taught the student must accompany the nomination form.
Presented annually in the Spring semester, this award honors an outstanding senior student who majored in Humanities at Auburn University with a minimum 3.69 GPA. Humanities includes majors in art, English, foreign languages and literatures, graphic design, history, philosophy, music, and theatre. Criteria for the award are outstanding scholarship, activities, honors, and character. Nominations should be made by Auburn University faculty members who have knowledge of the student's academic performance. One letter of recommendation by a faculty member who taught the student must accompany the nomination form.

Criteria include scholarship, activities, honors, character, and a minimum 3.69 GPA. Nominations should be made by Auburn University faculty members who have knowledge of the student's academic performance. Presented annually in the Spring semester to students who meet the following criteria: 1) current student at the Auburn University main campus, 2) active member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, 3) demonstrate financial need, and 4) apply using AUSOM.
