To maintain continuity in Auburn’s academic work, certain existing academic committees will continue their responsibilities for the time being. Relevant committee chairs have been informed and asked to notify members accordingly. As the transition proceeds, the name, composition, structure, scope, function, and other aspects of these particular committees will be reviewed and revised as needed to align with Board policy and the University’s new academic advisory framework.
Academic Computing
The committee shall review on an annual basis the status and needs of academic computing and shall recommend action and policies, or policy changes, with regard to academic computing.
Membership
The Committee on Academic Computing shall be composed of 13 members: nine faculty members, one continuing/ex-officio member who shall be the Exec. Director of the Division of University Computing or designee, one graduate student nominated by the President of the Graduate Student Council, and two undergraduate students nominated by the President of the Student Government Association.Members
