To maintain continuity in Auburn’s academic work, certain existing academic committees will continue their responsibilities for the time being. Relevant committee chairs have been informed and asked to notify members accordingly. As the transition proceeds, the name, composition, structure, scope, function, and other aspects of these particular committees will be reviewed and revised as needed to align with Board policy and the University’s new academic advisory framework.

Calendar and Schedules

The committee shall submit a proposed University Calendar for approval by the Presidential Academic Advisory Council. It shall recommend policies concerning scheduling to promote effective use of the University's facilities.

Membership

The Calendar and Schedules Committee shall be composed of 11 members: six faculty members, one continuing/ex-officio member who shall be Registar as Secretary, one staff member nominated by the Staff Council, the A&P Secretary of the Administrative & Professional Assembly, and two undergraduate students nominated by the President of the Student Government Association.
