Save Smart, Live Well
An HSA helps you pay for medical expenses that your insurance doesn’t cover. The account belongs to you, not Auburn University.
Both you and Auburn can put money into your HSA.
Why an HSA Is a Smart Choice
HSAs offer three tax benefits:
-
Contributions are tax-free (taken from your paycheck before taxes).
-
Money in the account grows tax-free.
-
Withdrawals for eligible medical expenses are tax-free.
This means you save money while lowering your taxable income.
