Threat Intelligence Program Mission

The mission of the Auburn University Threat Intelligence Program (TIP) is to:

1) Detect, prevent, and respond to threats targeting university-affiliated people and assets

2) Provide timely and accurate information to university leaders and security decision-makers

 

Key TIP programs include the Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management (BTAM) Team and the Community Targeted Violence and Threat Prevention (TVTP) Program.

The BTAM mission is to prevent acts of targeted violence by engaging in a systematic, behavior-focused, multidisciplinary assessment and intervention model.

The TVTP mission is to deliver comprehensive training programs to prevent targeted violence within local communities throughout the State of Alabama.
