Message from Ed Thomas, Jr. - Message to Researchers
Dear COSAM researchers,
During this time, there is a lot of uncertainty among our faculty, staff, and students about the status of research projects. Within the last week, federal and non-federal sponsors have begun making updates to their policies regarding proposal submissions, the status of review panels, and the status of currently funded projects.
The COSAM COVID-19 information page (https://www.auburn.edu/cosam/about/coronavirus.htm) now has a series of links to the guidance from several agencies of relevance to COSAM researchers, an Auburn University VPR page with both federal and non-federal sponsor information, and a large repository of information from the Council on Governmental Relations.
Your department contracts and grants representatives are working closely with the COSAM Research Office to ensure that pre- and post-award activities can continue as smoothly as possible. Please do not hesitate to reach out to any of the members of the COSAM contracts and grants team if you have any questions.
Edward Thomas, Jr.
