DMS announces the establishment of the Dr. Marcus Marsh Endowed Fund for Excellence

DMS is pleased to announce the establishment of a new permanent endowment, made possible by a generous gift from Dr. Marcus Marsh. Named the Dr. Marcus Marsh Endowed Fund for Excellence, this endowment will support the Department of Mathematics and Statistics' strategic initiatives, including scholarships and graduate awards. We are deeply grateful for Dr. Marsh's generosity. Our department is fortunate to have the support of alumni like him.

Bio: Originally from Birmingham, AL, Dr. Marsh graduated from Auburn University in 1970 earning his bachelor's in mathematics. Following his time at Auburn, Dr. Marsh pursued his Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University Houston (MS in 1976 and Ph.D. in 1981). He is now retired from California State University, Sacramento, as professor emeritus.
