Tiger Giving Day reaches goals and makes impact directly throughout the state of Alabama
On April 10, the Auburn Family helped the College of Sciences and Mathematics (COSAM) exceed both of its goals for Tiger Giving Day projects.
The annual giving event supports needs throughout the university and creates an opportunity to contribute to special projects that embody the spirit of a land-grant institution.
COSAM’s two projects were Expand and Make Arboretum Carnivorous Plant Bog Accessible and SCORE Launches Mission: REACH for Statewide Robotics Education.
The Expand and Make Arboretum Carnivorous Plant Bog Accessible project totaled an incredible 106 percent of its goal with 206 donors. The SCORE Launches Mission: REACH for Statewide Robotics Education project received an outstanding 103 percent of its goal with 130 donors.
The Davis Arboretum will be able to expand its carnivorous plant bog and make a connecting walkway accessible for all to enjoy. S.C.O.R.E. will be able to expand STEM Education throughout the state to K-12 students.
Both of these projects make a genuine difference to people in our community and our entire state.
Thank you to the generous and relentless donors in our college who helped make this year’s Tiger Giving Day a resounding success!
We could not have reached our goals without you, and we sincerely appreciate every single donation.
War Eagle!
