Jeff Stallworth and Bradley Morgan had the opportunity to attend the Super Computing Conference in November of 2018. With the rise of e-research and high performance computing, this conference allowed our staff to exchange ideas about technology, support for faculty and researchers, and growth of student research. Jeff and Brad are now part of a nationwide network of colleagues devoted to supporting faculty research.
In early 2018, Josh Henderson presented at the Nintex Xchange Conference in San Diego. Nintex is an advanced workflow and process automation solution that we use in conjunction with SharePoint, and Josh's presentation focused on the success that Auburn Athletics have seen in using Nintex.
Danny Moody and Jason DeBlanc both presented at the UBTech Conference in June of 2018. Danny spoke on "Experimenting with Augmented Reality in Healthcare Education" while Jason spoke on "Scaling Engaged and Active Student Learning (EASL) at Auburn." The work OIT shared at the UBTech conference demonstrated the partnerships between Auburn faculty and OIT and our faculty’s commitment to engaging technology in the classroom.
