He received his B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Nanjing University. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Clemson University in 2012 and worked as a research fellow in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan from 2013-2016. Chen's research focuses on advanced nanomaterial based biosensors for biomarker detection, single cell secretion imaging, and cellular communication. He has a broad interest in Biophysics, Biosensing, Medicine/NanoEHS, and Immunology. |
