Brett Clark – 2022 Dean’s Medal (Physics)
Brett Clark will graduate summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.
At Auburn, Brett received an Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Geosciences. He has conducted undergraduate research in the Department of Geosciences and the Department of Physics and gained experience as an intern for Simulation Technologies, Inc.
As a tutor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, a learning assistant, and most recently a laboratory teaching assistant in the Department of Physics, he has been able to explore a passion for helping others learn and hopes that one day his career path will allow him to continue to do so.
While at Auburn, Brett has been involved in the UKirk campus ministry. A former member of the Auburn Triathletes, Brett enjoys running and cycling in his free time, as well as playing the guitar and spending time with his friends.
Brett would like to thank all of the faculty members who have taught and mentored him throughout his time at Auburn, especially those whose office hours he regularly filled. He would also like to thank his parents and sister; their love, support, and guidance have been invaluable.
Following graduation, Brett plans to pursue a graduate degree in statistics, with specific aspirations to contribute to more effective research in the sciences.
