Major Gemma R. Fiduk
Education Officer
Major Gemma R. Fiduk commissioned in 2013 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rowan University. Her first duty assignment was with the 19th Civil Engineer Squadron, Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, where she served as the Officer in Charge of the Programming Element and filled in as the Base Community Planner. She deployed as the Contracting Officer Representative Section Chief at Al Mubarak Air Base, Kuwait. Afterwards, Major Fiduk was competitively selected for the Air Force Institute of Technology's Civilian Institution Program, earning a Master of Science in Building Construction and Facility Management from Georgia Tech while concurrently acquiring a Master of Science in Transportation Engineering from the University of Louisville and her Professional Engineer License. She served as an instructor of Asset Management at The Civil Engineer School at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio and deployed as the Air Force Central Command’s Pavement Engineer at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.
Prior to her current assignment, Major Fiduk was stationed at Peterson Space Force Base, supporting 59 tenant units, 22 geographically-separated units, and two commands between the Air and Space Forces. While there, she deployed as the 386th Civil Engineer Squadron’s Operations Flight Commander at Ali Al Salem, Kuwait.
