Day Job:
I work to share the story of Auburn's Campus Safety and Security department. From highlighting the resources we have that keep Auburn safe to communicating with students/faculty/staff/parents, I get the opportunity to let one of our greatest campus assets shine. As the creed says, "I believe in obedience to law because it protects the rights of all." I uphold that mission, while building relationships, sharing our stories, and connecting our key stakeholders across campus and the surrounding area.
Favorite Auburn Experience:
For me, my 2 years as a War Eagle Girl were the most memorable years of my time at Auburn. I treasured the friendships, the memories, the unique experiences, meeting SO many Auburn men and women, and most of all getting the pleasure of serving Auburn.
Fun facts:
I was born in Fort Worth, Texas and finished high school in Marietta, Georgia. My husband and I share the same birthday. When I moved from Texas to Georgia, in middle school, my husband was one of the first people I met. We have 4 kids and no pets.
Before coming to Auburn I was a TV meteorologist. I was the first female Chief Meteorologist in the state of Alabama. I love the weather, reading leadership books, and running businesses with my husband.
